Simple Opinion Poll- current project at a standoff

Right, dead simple.

My current project is a bunch of star wars storm trooper ripoff traitor guard.

There's debate regarding the colour the goggles should be. We've narrowed it down to Blue, Red, or Black with a drop of gloss varnish; see below for visualisation.

Please let me know which you prefer- just a direct statement, please, not 'if you want x you should do y,' just tell me which one you like best.

Voted Red.

 

Most lenses in Star Wars Imperial force were black, dark green, and reddish brown (Vader). I feel the red on the model gives it a better color pop than the blue and the black is too much black, even if gloss.

Voted red, just looks the best there in my opinion. great work though

The red looks as good as the blue, but the red adds warmth and ties into a Khorne colour palette, whereas the blue makes the model cooler, and looks less imposing and malevolent. The red also works with the spot colour on the base.

I voted blue lenses, as I think it looks and painted better, but overall red lenses ties better with the theme (cultist of khorne), and the current basing.  Just my 2 cents.

I voted blue, which looks best on its own. But I'll agree with the others who said that the red lenses work better with the base and background. I think you can't go wrong with either one.

 

I definitely wouldn’t go with the black ones, though.

The blue is very well done but I think the red looks angrier which is perfect for Khorne!

I voted red, although blue looks fine too (and I'm sure I've seen GW use blue lenses on a similar scheme).

as others have said, blue looks really good but red ties in better with them being khorne worshippers

 

You might want to use blue if you do a squad of tzeentch worshippers though!

Initially I was going to say black because that's what Stormtroopers have, but given the Khorne video I agree with the rest that suggested red.
