happyslugger
Evening folks. I'm about to start building some terminators, ten in total for my black legion. Anyone else here leave the trophy racks off them? I've never been a fan and my experience with the previous terminator kits was they always caught on things and broke off, made storage and transport difficult. What's the general consensus on loadouts? Dr_Ruminahui 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/387872-chaos-terminators/ Share on other sites
FabiusV4lcoran
I love how the trophy racks look, but they ARE a pain. My models are mostly for display so I put them on, but if I were lugging them around everywhere I probably wouldn't. happyslugger
I've looked online and I'll see how I go with them. I'll keep the spikes in case I feel they look off, but the old terminators were a real pain with them on. I've seen some where they have cut down the trophy racks and then glued the skulls / helmets and smaller spikes onto the top of the terminator, so that's another possibility Dr_Ruminahui 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/387872-chaos-terminators/#findComment-6169343 Share on other sites
Tallarn Commander
Happy Slugger, I have left the trophy racks off of my Blood Wolves Terminators, the Stormcrows But I kept 'em on my Night Lords and Doooomfevers Warband Termies. In terms of loadout, Chaos Termies' shooting is largely lackluster so it doesn't really matter what guns you give 'em. Although I do find combi-weapons to sometimes do some damage. In terms of melee, I've been happiest with powerfists, lightning claws, and a chainfist. So for 10-termie squad that would be 6 powerfists, 2 sets of lightning claws, and a chainfist. The powerfists are where the real damage is, at least in my games. Have fun! happyslugger 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/387872-chaos-terminators/#findComment-6169405 Share on other sites
happyslugger
So chainfist on the sergeant and then claw and fists. MadEdric
I left them off my Terminators. I had the intent to add them after a few battles and paint the helmets and such as the foes they faced. Well.. that didn't pan out and I'm fine with their look. happyslugger, Dr_Ruminahui and Tallarn Commander 3 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/387872-chaos-terminators/#findComment-6169623 Share on other sites
