Thanks @jaxom, however you've got 1 Galatus, 1 Achillus and 2 Telemon under priced due to the 2+/3+ per army price bump, but I like your thinking. 

I'm actually quite keen on the idea of the Moritoi Custodes detachment so I might tweak that to my own tastes (no sisters!)

Drop the 3rd price bump dreadnoughts and upgrade nullmaidens to terminators?

I'm thinking of running chaos knights as recon this edition, because I think it would be hilarious.  My 2000 points list is (so far):

 

All 3 1 DP detachments (so, the cultist, wardog and tyrant ones):

• Tyrant with plasma/las & 2x missiles (400) - this is my warlord.
• Abominant (355)
• Rampager (365)
• Huntsman wardog with top melta (140) 
• 2x Stalker wardog with gatling, claw and havoc (2x140)
• 6x Mobs of 10 cultists (6x50)
• 1x 10 Fellgore beastmen (60)
• 1x 10 Daemonettes (90)

 

For the moment, I need to run autogun cultists as CCW ones, but I eventually intend to paint up enough that I don't.  Just 40 more cultists to paint!

 

Would also like swap in a Despoiler with 2x gatlings for chaff clearing, but at the moment at 430 points they are way too expensive.  Paying for past sins...

 

I know this is kind of going the opposite direction of what you intend, but as a thought experiment I just drafted a 2000 point chaos knight list with 167 models - 7 wardogs, 110 cultists and 50 demonettes.
