Nearly got this bastard finished, its been a long and arduous process, and Mr. Murphy seems to have found my forwarding address after the Army, he's a relentless SOB. Three days after my last post for this WIP we suffered a fire, more details are in WIP, part 2. 

 

All thats left at this point is some fixes, a few small details, and some spots I neglected like the halo and upper section of his torso armor. The center of the sword will get an effect similar to the base. I forgot to get a pic showing the ambient orange glow on his lower legs, and I'm still deciding exactly how much blood effects he's going to get. Its probably 90% finished now, and everything thats left is just enhancing what's already there.

 

I would appreciate any constructive critiques and suggestions, always looking to improve.

Good job, though IMHO you should break up chest armor piece a bit, it's have ornament but you use single metallic on it. Dry brush of bronze you used on sword handle should improve overall look. Same for the khorn's symbol on the hand with axe.
