I'm having some trouble figuring out how scout moves are ordered in 11th ed., as I can't seem to find where in the rules it actually says how its done.  It may be something hidden in the app.

So, my last game, both my opponent and I had possible scout moves.  I had first turn.  My understanding for last edition is that I would move one as first player, then we would alternate.  However, I couldn't find anything in the rules that dealt with this.

I went asked the store guy in charge, and he said I moved all of mine, then my opponent all of his.  Which makes a certain amount of sense as that's how pile in and consolidation moves work, but I would like to actually know how the rule works and were that is set out.

The guy at the store is incorrect.

When you look at the rules for Scout, it says "In the Resolve Pre-Battle Abilities step"

When you go to the rules for that step it says "Players alternate resolving any pre-battle rules [that] units from their army may have, starting with the player who will take the first turn."
