The Vostroyan Firstborn have always had one of the most distinctive aesthetics in the Imperial Guard range, but they never received mounted characters. I wanted to explore what a Vostroyan officer on a war mount might have looked like if such a miniature had existed in the original range.

The main goal was to stay as close as possible to the proportions, equipment, ornamentation and overall visual language of the classic Vostroyan miniatures, rather than redesigning them in a modern style.

The model was sculpted entirely by hand using traditional miniature sculpting techniques. It is not a 3D model and it was not 3D printed.

I should also mention that painting is not really my strong side, and I do not enjoy it very much, so I asked an AI to create a painted version from a photo of the sculpt. In other words, the painted image is a visual interpretation of the miniature, not an actual hand-painted model.

This is my interpretation of a mounted Vostroyan Firstborn Boyar-Marshal — Svyatogor Voronin
