He's not bad; I do dislike the tactical rock (on a BIKE no less!) and I feel like it would have been better if the bike's default positioning was more neutral on the base such that you could mount him at a different angle/pose with a bit of remodelling if you so desired. Otherwise he's fine.

It's fine. They didn't oversell him and didn't undersell him either. He's appropriately sold.

He'll look great leading a unit of outriders with a chaplain with that cape billowing.

Yeah, nice touch I think. if you already own a chaplain outrider and are posing your guys in a group shot, you can flank them on either side with some the symmetry. the chaplain has his foot on the ground too, and it annoyed me posing him with the outriders are zoom zoom zooming while he is obviously stopped.

There's been several posts in this thread now implying you're forced to have him having his foot planted on the ground.

 

You have both options to have him planting his foot on the ground as well as riding with foot on the pedal. 

 

Its one of the features of the kit i like most, hence I pointed it out earlier.
