I have this;

30 Berzerkers

20 jakhals

a unit of goremongers

9 exalted eightbound

Juggerlord

Invocatus

Master of Executions

Angron

Daemon Prince with Wings.

Rhino.

The whole army won't be far off 2000 points anyway, but do I put Khârn with 20 zerks, or Invocatus with the Eightbound, do I even need a rhino?

My first impression is that Goremongers are a bit rubbish, but I might be missing something!

Is the army better without  Angron? (I hope not, I love me some angry murder monkey)

So, what do you recommend?

I am by no means an expert, but it seems like World Eaters are supposed to be one of the faster melee armies. So the Rhino may not help that much? On the other hand, getting close and letting the rhino take the punishment could make the speed even more terrible on your enemies.

This is an older post so I’m curious if you’ve played this army yet? Any results? Are the Goremongers good?

Not yet, game planned in 2 weeks. I only meet my main opponent once a month and we've been doing the weird match ups to encourage us to learn the rules and nuances - like Priority Assets vs Disruption (which we ended up doing wrong even though it's more or less the same mission each...)

So we're going to have a right old barny involving World Eaters (Purge) vs either Orks or Necrons on Take.

I have learned that Angron is a WMD, a nuclear weapon, a torpedo of ultimate doom. One of our group wants to run a Stompa at 2000 points, and we're a really forgiving bunch but it has to be killable, and Angron can kill a Stompa in one round, so the Stompa is allowed.

Yeah, I've played the Priority v Disposition match-up twice in a row (against different opponents - lost as Priority both times) - and yeah, for some reason its remarkably difficult to get one's head around.  Basically, in each game we had to go through the VP scoring on each card beside each other to figure out  how the mission was supposed to play.
