Youtube doesn't play nice at work right now, but seeing as this is cartoony ( at least judging by the thumbnail) it's either gonna be a nice little funny video, or another proof at the slow erosion of the grim dark super serious hobby by the invisible hand of... someone, idk.

Eh, it's fine. Not for me, but then again neither is something like Space King which is popular now too (or text to speech, never loved that either). The best part was the Alpha Legion winning

Don't really see any harm in it

Flashgitz already did pretty much the same but better about years ago with Warhammer 40k: Looney Tunes edition*. This just reads as a bad corporate copy of their work which is a bit odd given they are doing the same to GW with Space King*.

It's almost getting to the cringe stage where major brands start dissing each other on X.

GW seem hell bent on making me spend my money elsewhere.

*(No way I am linking those on the B&C )

And just in case anyone thinks I am an old fuddy duddy stick in the mud search my Cosmic Space Knights (...of Doom!) here on the B&C, I was waaaay ahead of the curve.

I normally hate the cutesy side of memes in the 40k fandom. The diminutive kawaii kriegsman with shovel and battle sister being a case in point.

But art style aside this doesn’t really flinch from depicting the brutality of the setting, dismemberment and all.

Got around to watching it; very charming, proportions and demeanor of the Marines reminded me a bit of the game Don't Starve.

Was kinda hoping they would actually tally up to fourty thousand ways to die in a rapid but comedic mannner, but that could easily be an hour long animation.

It was entertaining - and very much in keeping with the humour of the home nation. I wouldn't be averse to seeing more of these little animations, particularly if they started parodying some of our better known fixtures; Fawlty Towers, Only Fools and Horses, Peep Show, etc.

Some of you need to stop taking it so seriously. I’ve cringed reading some of these comments.
Grown men getting upset at a cartoon about their toy soldiers.

Little harsh there, no one is upset, Art is subjective.

If people do not like or they love it it's up to them. I think most things here have been said in good humour.
