Obelix Posted September 7, 2004 Share Posted September 7, 2004 hmm, according to WD105 (I know it's a very old one but anyway) Land Raiders are delivered to the Space Marines, the Imperial Guard, the Inquisition, the Adeptus Arbites, to certain Rogue Traders and to other, more secret and obscure Imperial bodies. So I guess unless GW have changed the fluff (as if they'd ever do that :lol:) the answer is - they aren't! or for an even simpler answer - because they are the only ones whose codex allows them to! The Officer Posted September 7, 2004 Share Posted September 7, 2004 Actually, during the Heresy all Land Raiders were assigned to the space marines by the order of the Emperor, to create concentrated and very powerfull strike forces I suppose.
