Quantum
To add some more fluff to the subject: The Land Raiders were availeble for all Imperial Forces before the Horus Heresy. However, a specific Forge World was resposible for the production of most Land Raiders. Horus' forces managed to overrun this Forge World and as such, the Imperial supply of Land Raiders was reduced to a level that wasn't nearly enough to supply all Imperial Forces. The Emperor then decided that all new Land Raiders would be given to the loyal Space Marine Legions, not forces like the Imperial Guard. As the Emperor 'died' before the order was withdrawn, only the Space Marines have acces to the Land Raider Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/43170-fluff-competition/page/27/#findComment-565226 Share on other sites
Dandarl
QuantumCollider is right! And the name of the forge world is Anvilus 9 and it was conquered by turncoat tech-priests. *tosses to ball over to QuantumCollider* Your turn. Some Marine
The DP that killed the Howling Griffons CM was called Periclitor. ++EDIT++ oh, and it wasn't Periclitor. He corrupted something called a Pedagogue. (What's with all these "gogues"?) Commissar Molotov
I think Lieutenant L should have got it right... according to the Inquisitor rulebook: On several occasions, von Castellan has answered [inqusitor]Covenant's call and his expertise in manipulating people has been invaluable in aiding the Inquisitor. He enthusiastically infiltrated the hedonistic priesthood of the Decagogue of Panetha Varn, discovering the Slaaneshi cult at its heart. His extremely thorough investigations proved pivotal in the traitor's unmasking. Lieutenant L answered both Duke von Castellan and Inquisitor Covenant... ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/43170-fluff-competition/page/27/#findComment-567023 Share on other sites
