What number am I thinking of?

real question: How does the Emperor sign his cheques

Before anyone complains, this is in fluff, and I have the book sitting by the computer for a page reference if no-one believes me. I won't give that unless you give up or get the right answer, but the facility is there.

He uses the Imperial Stamp or Seal or whatever thingie he dips in ink to put his signet on any document.

Of course, that was pre-heresy. Since he's been put in the Golden Throne, the High Lords of Terra have taken over that tedious task. Now, it's the High Lord of the Officio Monetarum that signs the Emperor's checks... but I won't tell you of the administrative blunder that came up when they first went to the bank to register the High Lord as co-signer for the Emperor... they had to gather the whole Astronomican Choir to act as the Emperor's voice and by the time they figured it out, the High Lord was dead of old age and had been replaced by another man.

Sheesh... the joys of bureaucracy.
