Bootae
After posting my updated Shadowhawk fluff, I got a PM on the B&C from Flint&Steel expressing an interest in expanding on the newly created 4th "scout/reserve" company mentioned in that background (link here for the main chapter history for reference). He's got quite in to the hawks and has sent me some pics of nicely painted scout minis and we got talking about making a spin off list for them. Basically Shadowhawks with a slight trait change to reflect this companies different emphasis and available equipment. So for your perusal and critique, below is the first draft of an add on to the main IA article and the variant traits: The Shadowhawk 4th Company Since the Shadowhawks redemption and return to the Imperium, they have finally been able to begin rebuilding the chapter. Rymeer
It is good to see the other Shadowhawk chapter doing well. I do hope to hear more of their successes in battle and I pray that the Emperor grants your chapter the boon of continued success in your efforts to grow your chapter to full codex size. I do hope our chapters never suffer the mis-fortune of having to fight side by side, since confusion amongst any other allies would abound. Even though I am sure our comm-beads would be on differing frequencies and encoding schemes, the chance of false battle chatter leaking over between chapter forces is a thought to make any commander uneasy. May the Emperor guide and bless you and your brothers, Chapter Master Janos, Shadowhawks Chapter, Adeptus Astartes. Addition from player: I am glad to see your efforts 'pan out' and I think your fluff to be well written. I look forwards to seeing more in the future. Even though your 'hawks' will grow to more than four companies, I get the feeling that the Fourth will become the primary training company for your chapter, no matter how large it may grow to. Success in your endeavors, Rymeer Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/68804-going-on-a-slight-tangent/#findComment-784495 Share on other sites
