Aurelius Rex
heres my ideas for how my army was formed, therye abit off fluddwise in some sections as I am tired and lazy too look stuff up, well could you help me refine it? Word to the wise... saying you can't be bothered to check facts yourself when you are asking for help is not a good strategy... even in jest. Despite that, brief thoughts: - You really need to research the topic to get the best background for your army. Read up on the DA in their codex, their IA articles, and Shadowguard has a great DA site you should visit. - Clark was a vet sarge before he messed up, so is the 'captain' rank self-assigned, like a pirate captain? Aaargh, me'hearties! - His crime would not have been heresy - he did not let Cypher go after all - perhaps dereliction of duty. Banishment might still be appropriate though. For a similar tale, check out Black Sky, Dead Sun by Graeme McNeill, which is not well written but does closely follow the same idea as you have here. - As he knows about the fallen, he would try to take them alive, and would not want non-unforgiven marines to know about them. To lose cypher was unfortunate... to also let outsiders know about the Legions fallen is worse, and to not try to take them back to the interrogator chaplains for 'saving' is the mark of someone who is going to get whacked by the Inner Circle when they hear about it! - Having such a large concentration of fallen that they have a strike cruiser, and are so easily beaten is also something that should be addressed. They were scattered through time and space, and while it is possible, it needs a lot more more explaination... So the idea of a penitent force is doable, but it needs more research to plug up the plot holes. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/76121-captain-clarkes-crusaders/#findComment-875412 Share on other sites
