Warmongers

My attempt at a Steel Eagle paintjob left me very dissappointed. I then tried for Iron hands and was saddened as well at my poor painting skills. I then picked up the brush and quarter a marine Snot Green with Scorpian Green Highlights/Enchanted Blue with Eletric Blue highlights. I then topped it off with a White bolter with grey highlights. I was really impressed at how well he looked. My painting skills when it comes to marines are very poor. Whilst I can paint a cadian 8th jungle uniform flawlessly when it comes to power armor I just... suck! After painting the first marine I realized that they looked almost exactly like the Warmongers except that the colors were switched on the sides of the armor.

 

So with that marine out of the way I then went on to paint a 3 more bolter marines, a land speeder, 5 terminators, a liberarin, 2 veteran sargents, and 2 marines with BP/CCW.

 

I didn't make anything into squads yet because I know very little about the chapter. In fact, after a internet search and a B&C search the only info I turned up is that they are a strictly codex chapter. Too bad i'm totally going to use Cleanese and Purify as a trait though.

 

So does anyone here actaully play or have painted warmongers? Can anyone else give me some more info on them?

Yes I saw those I was very very impressed with them. I was actaully looking for information about the chapter such as beliefs and location and such.

I strongly suspect that this is one of the innumerable Chapters that GW has printed a paint scheme for, and nothing else. As such, I doubt that there's much, if anything, in the way of fluff for them. And that, of course, basically leaves you free to do whatever you wish with them, like Several Concerned Cricketers has with the Brazen Claws.
