Chapter Name: Scions Imperialis (imperial scions)

-Chapter Geneseed- Imperial Fists (dorn)

Chapter Founding - 24th

Homeworld- Aracia, large ice covered world, compared even to fenris. located in the ultima segmentum, exactly 4 days warp travel from the EOT.

Chapter History- Founded during the 24th founding(^^) the imperial scions, also known as the scions Imperialis, were another of the many chapters founded around the eye of terror to protect the Cadian area in case of another terrible black crusade. When first founded, they found themselves with little equipment, no veterans, and 2 strike cruisers that had been found in an old spaceport on terra. Still, they were resolved to succeed, but a lack of proper materials left the chapter at about a strength of barely 500 marines, with few tanks, even fewer tactical dreadnought armor, and only 1 dreadnought suit. They fought with the black consuls chapter during the purging of Tellion IV against a massive heretical force controlled by the worshippers of tzneetch, and after a 3 month long bloody campaign, they defeated the heretics, and the inquistion destroyed the planet via a massive magma bomb orbital strike. The Scions asked the black consuls to train them, as their marines had been fresh recruits during the purging of Tellion IV, and the black consuls agreed. They sent 15 marines of various service to teach the Imperial Scions the ways of war, and after 2 years, deemed the chapter independent. The Adeptus Mechanicus, after recieving a request for materials by the black consuls, started to send the Scions more equipment, until they were a full chapter.

Now the scions needed a fleet. So their new chapter Master Ralanor, along with an entire company (1st co) visited various old salvage yards around the imperium, and after about a year, they had somehow collected 2 badly damaged battle barges, 4 strike cruisers, and multiple thunderhawk/transport craft. The chapters techmarines oversaw the re-induction of these craft into service, and thus the scions began what they believed their ultimate duty, to fight the enemies of the emperor among the stars. The chapter rarely was together, but it gathered at least once a year to celebrate its founding. But it needed a place to call home, so it sent a request to the HLOTs, and they gave them the world Aracia, a desolate ice-world ruled by a few blood-thirsty tribes that were considered to be similar to those on fenris. The chapter quickly made Aracia its home, creating a large monastery in the northern polar regions of Aracia. Its rumored that the monastery reaches into space itself, but it is most likely that what is seen is a giant-space refuelling/refitting station the chapter built. After all this had finally happened, the chapter went on a crusade to fight the newly arrived tyranid fleets, but were too late, as the fleets had been broken. The Scions hunted the remains of many hive fleets, and this gained them valuable experience against the tyranids and brought them into contact with many other xenos species. The chapter returned to help in the 13th black crusade, but again their luck was bad, and they only were able to fight some small ship-to-ship battles with some small chaos splinter fleets. Since then, the chapter has crusaded many times into the halo regions, trying to conqueor new areas for the emperor, and for mankind.

Combat Doctrine- The Imperial Scions follow codex astartes closely, but in many situations, they take what codex astartes would demand, and twist and change it to their feel and style of battle. They prefer close combat, only after laying down a heavy barrage of fire.

Beliefs- The scions see rogal dorn as a mighty champion, a leader of men, and the emperor, his father, and an even greater hero. They worship both greatly, and they depict both their primarch and their father in many places in their fortress monastery.

Colour Scheme- Dark angels green legs, arms. Chainmail/boltgun shoulders and chest eagles, and black trim. Their symbol is 2 blue swords crossed with a laurel wreath around them and the words Scions Imperialis.

Thats my Diy, c&c please, hope you all like it. ^_^

Check this map and see about the locations. The ultima segmentum is quite large, so it is possible to be only 4 days away from the EoT but to fight Tyranids as well which are mainly on the other side of the universe, and to get back in time for the 13th Black Crusade is pushing it a bit. I would drop the tyranid fighting bit and maybe change it to orks, they're everywhere.

were another of the many chapters founded around the eye of terror to protect the Cadian area in case of another terrible black crusade
I would reword that to something like this -

were another chapter founded to join the Adeptus Praesus, those Adeptus Astartes Chapters who's purpose is to protect the are around the Eye of Terror from Chaos incursions

When first founded, they found themselves with little equipment, no veterans, and 2 strike cruisers that had been found in an old spaceport on terra. Everything here is good besides the ship section. On creation, most chapters are given a single battle barge to get to their homeworld, and maybe a few other ships to help on thier way.

The Scions asked the black consuls to train them, as their marines had been fresh recruits during the purging of Tellion IV
I think a better way of doing this would be make them Ultramarine geneseed and say that the Black Consuls sent veterans to train them under order of the HLoT. Then when they fight upon Tellion IV, seeing some of their old brothers they help them out more to get a better chapter which could help them out.

The Adeptus Mechanicus, after recieving a request for materials by the black consuls, started to send the Scions more equipment, until they were a full chapter

This should be changed to something about reaching their homeworld, the local forgeworld started to produce more equipment for the Scions, until they where nearly at full strength.

But it needed a place to call home, so it sent a request to the HLOTs, and they gave them the world Aracia, a desolate ice-world ruled by a few blood-thirsty tribes that were considered to be similar to those on fenris.
If a chapter is to be planet based then the HLoT will designate a homeworld before they leave Terra for them to goto. This would also help with the forgeworld section as well.

Now the scions needed a fleet. So their new chapter Master Ralanor, along with an entire company (1st co) visited various old salvage yards around the imperium, and after about a year, they had somehow collected 2 badly damaged battle barges, 4 strike cruisers, and multiple thunderhawk/transport craft

Im not a big fan of this, sending the Chapter Master and the entire 1st company out to go salvage equipment seems a bit wrong. They would more likely send a lesser company with their captain in charge.

Well written though
