littlebighorn
Hey Guys and Gals After a day of work and doodling I came up with a basic design for new chapter badge for my DIY army that I have been trying to start for quite some time. The chapter is going to be called the Lemurian Angels and get their geneseed from the blood angels. http://photobucket.com/albums/y18/LittleBi...urrent=Logo.jpg I do hope you enjoy and I am working on the rest of the stuff for the chapter. Librarian- Melechor
It looks really great! Only problem is going to be painting that on every marine :o :( Good luck with your chapter, hope to see it finished! DraXaus
Not too bad. But I agree with Melechor, even if you have the skill, it's still going to be a pain to put that on every marine... Mutt-Man!
Its your choice, however I like it. Problem being how many times you paint it before you get tired of it. I say paint those things on when you feel like it. Could get frusterating. Goodluck  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/80675-chapter-badge/#findComment-932289 Share on other sites
Tubal
Or you could order transfers from Griffon Games (or a similar company, if there are any =) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/80675-chapter-badge/#findComment-932328 Share on other sites
Ferrata
I really love the design  Agreed that it might be hard to paint over and over again, but it will look great Ferrata Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/80675-chapter-badge/#findComment-932400 Share on other sites
schoon
I'm liking it as well. However, just to keep the creative juices flowing, here are some other alternatives  : Perhaps make the "circle" just two twined lines (would make it slightly easier) ...or I was thinking that replacing the lines with the classic "U" wreath might also look good Cheers! Tubal
You could make the circle blue, most marine symbols seem to be monochrome after all and it would reduce the risk of it clashing with another part of the model. Grey Knight
make that badge on the computer, sure it'll be harder than doing it on the marines, but after you finish it you could make custom transfers! littlebighorn
make that badge on the computer How do you suggest I go about this because I have no skills when it comes to making stuff on a computer. Tips and tricks would be great. And if it helps I have photoshop 7.
