wilus starl
I was thinking of doing an army of these guys before they started worshipping chaos but after they became renegade, so they still consider themselves loyal (like the Relictors). I was going to have them with a significant divergance with advantages as "see but don't be seen" from sombre to represent them using animal camoflage as does the great animal spirit the emperor and "uphold the honour of the emperor" for the usage of "sacred" animal pelts and skins. Their disadvantages would be "aspire to glory" because there recources were cut off once they became renegade and "we stand alone" because they are renegade. From the limited fluff recources I posses, I have discovered there colour scheme is a dark brass colour which I will use a mix of snakebite leather and boltgun metal to emulate. If anyone could give any fluff or ideas to improve my idea they would be greatly apprieciated  :o Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/82164-the-steel-cobras/ Share on other sites

Inquisitor Victan
im thinking total dark brass might make it look pretty bad...... maybe post a pick of a test model? Ferrata
I was thinking of doing an army of these guys before they started worshipping chaos but after they became renegade, so they still consider themselves loyal (like the Relictors). If you like that, go for it. But its getting a bit common now days  Your traits (tt-wise) are a little counter productive. You will probably try to infiltrate into cover, but lose your cover save due to the other trait. Yes you are walking cover, but you lose the good cover saves. hello....anyone? Hello, not much to comment on really. Liber's a tuff crowd. Too little, nothing to say. Too long, people get scared. ;) Ferrata Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/82164-the-steel-cobras/#findComment-953815 Share on other sites
Commissar Molotov
Liber's a tuff crowd. Too little, nothing to say. Too long, people get scared. ;) Rather unfortunately. Your ideas will certainly be better once you expand upon them. A bit of brainstorming would probably improve your ideas. Look into using Tin Bitz - it's the right sort of dark metallic colour. I look forward to seeing more of the Steel Cobras; their entry in the renegade chapters IA was interesting. wilus starl
oh yeah, I didn't think of that ferrata, I use traits for the background rather than the effect but I'll consider other more effective background based traits. Inquisitor victan, I've done a test model and it doesn't look that bad, considering that this is before they have turned to chaos them looking a bit brighter is o.k. I'll have pics up tommorrow once the camera is sorted. ^_^ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/82164-the-steel-cobras/#findComment-954753 Share on other sites
