Kevlarshark
Here is a little image of a Deamon Hunter Inquisitor I have been working on for a little while, he was hand drawn and painted using acrylic then editied a little in photoshop. Any comments are very welcome :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/84623-inquisitor-in-power-armour/ Share on other sites
Commander Biguss Brutus
Hes looks great. I especially like the pattern you've got going on the gun and armour and the use of the really strong black lines and heavy shadow. Reminds me of the really old power armour models for some reason. Kevlarshark
I based they style a bit on the John Blanche illustrations, and he always had many many layers of detail and pattern on his characters. A friend told me a while ago that my Inquisitor looked like the Blanche illustration of the SM termie from the old rule book (with one with the little banner "and they shall know no fear"). Cheers for positive feedback! Commander Biguss Brutus. I did try to get the armor looking a bit like one of the older generations that has then been modified for the inquisitors use (who knows how the inquisition gets their hands on this stuff? ). Commander Flintlock
Love your work... the whole light and darkness effect you've got going, I love it.... kinda reminds me of a quote I heard, about Inquisitors walking in both the light of the Emperor and the darkness of the enemies of the Imperium. But anyway... excellent work, Kevlarshark. In nomine Imperator. Kastellan Kong
Really nice work dude. Like the patterns and details a lot. But isn't his head way to big? or maybe it's the shoulderpad that's way to small... it takes away a bit from the overall effect but still really good.
