frontierpediatry
It's interesting how countries have their own distinctive styles... is that Heavy Bolter marine that got the bronze cyril, or some guy channeling him? That space hulk diorama is insane.

That space hulk diorama is insane. It's not Cyril's, his work can be found on his site or his coolminiornot.com gallery. If you take a look at the coverage then you can see that the Space Marine is by Manuel SANCHEZ. His coolminiornot.com gallery can be found here. Or you can try http://www.ttcreation.com/ where he has a gallery too (direct link).

If so I guess cyril's real name is Miguel Sanchez.
Callas
For pure comedy value on the GWFR site, it has to be the Grot submariner! Absolutely Inspired! ;) The 'fallen' Celestine is an interesting take on the mini, especially with the mouldy bat wings instead of her traditional cape an cherubim. But it is true, the Heavy Bolter is a great piece - why had I not thought of putting an underslung target scope on mine? It seems so obvious but looks so perfect. migsula
The French GD is always a treat! The Slayer Winner is unreal and so are a couple of other entries. Thanks again for the inspiration ;)

This time a bit directer: Cyril Abati (cyril on coolminiornot.com): site and coolminiornot.com gallery ---------- Manuel Sanches (manumilitari on coolminiornot.com):site, gallery, and coolminiornot.com gallery, and picture on the official Games Workshop Golden Daemon coverage (and picture 1, picture 2, and picture 3 of his heavy bolter Space Marine on coolminiornot.com)
