MrManson
Hi everyone! Yay, B&C is finally back! My inspiration for painting will hopefully return, and everyone will live happily ever after. Anyway, one of the things I actually managed to complete while B&C was down was my first unit of dragon-themed Furies. Some of you might remember my first few test-models (uhm, the squad still only has a few models, but anyhow), this is how the first squad turned out. C&C are welcome, as always! I already know that for the next bunch I will work a lot more on the shoulder-areas, I tried making scales going onto the wings on one of the finished ones, and it made the transition between wings and body a lot better. /MrManson
VtrAxX
Very Cool Idea!! I love the fact that you use lizardmen for the conversion (is that lixzard men   ) but anyways! Great work! VTraxx Out
angerforce
Looking good so far! I look forward to seeing more of them in the future! You should, however, learn how to sculpt greenstuff like a greenstuff-god and make your own wings. That would be infinitely cooler and more dynamic, and probably cheaper to. ;)
Inquisitor Claissen
Wow!! These are the best furies I have seen! God job!
SkyTalon
Wow! Great models mate! Those have to be the most original Daemon models I have ever seen :tu: ! Are you going to perhaps do a dragon-themed Greater Daemon as well :) That'd be pretty cool too ;) (hint hint lol) So who are the Legion they are supporting? Keep up the great work, looking forward to seeing more of your stuff ;) ! SkyTalon

MrManson
Thanks everyone, I'm really glad you like them! Wow! Great models mate! Those have to be the most original Daemon models I have ever seen ^_^ ! Are you going to perhaps do a dragon-themed Greater Daemon as well  That'd be pretty cool too  (hint hint lol) So who are the Legion they are supporting? Keep up the great work, looking forward to seeing more of your stuff ^_^ ! SkyTalon Hehe, a Greater Daemon is coming... I'm still not entirely sure how it will be done, but since I only game with my friends I will probably convert one from a non-GW-figure, possibly the new HORDES Everblight-warbeast-thingie. I also have a Bahamut Sin-statue (from the movie Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children), that will be repainted and somewhat converted and used in some cases as a tribute, since my CSM's comes from the the Sons of Bahamut. So yeah, the daemons follow the Sons of Bahamut, a group of Chaos Space Marines following the minor Chaos god Bahamut. Ruleswise I figured a minor gods presence in the real world would probably be quite well-represented by the Greater Daemon-rules, so the Sons of Bahamut strive to bring forth their god (they can keep at it while it's getting converted and painted.) I wonder how they will feel if I ever get the greater daemon done, do you think they will be happy? /MrManson

Gorin
Love them  the transition betwen the body and the wings might be smoother, you may consider sculpting some scales on the joints it would make them even better are this orginal furies wings?? good work

But yes, the transition could definately be done a lot better, the one on the left actually has a few scales sculpted on the wing-part of the shoulder, and it helps a lot. Yep, the wings are from the original furies. So, does anyone have any idea as to what I should do with ten wingless furies? (about seven of them being the pointing one, through some bizarre twist of fate.) A squad of pointers? /MrManson
