WARP SPECTRES

[chaplain mortis]

hey all!

 

well with the rise of the medusa v campaign coming along, i thought it was time i got my butt in to gear and started painting my d.i.y chapter the "warp spectres"

 

here is a few pics of what they are going to look like..(excuse the poor fotos, but you get the general idea)

there is no highliting on these minis as im trying to get as much done as quick as possible...(this took just over an hour compared to 8 hrs i usually spend painting a single trooper ;)

well i just have to iron out a bit of the chapters history, then i will stick it on here for your help in completing it...

Not much to add yet. I like your chapter's color scheme. My only issue is the silver weapons, they just look to monotone to me, but that's a personal preference so ignore if you like. Other than that it looks like your off to a good start.

I understand that you're trying to cut down time spent per model, but looking at the figure I think you've gone TOO basic. A bit more time invested in inking and drybrushing, and two-toneing the weapons (perhaps metal and the knee pad color), would go a long ways to making the model look much better.

 

The simple paint schemes are usually the better ones. And this one is different enough not to be mistaken for almost any other chapter's colors. I await pictures of more of your army as you finish them.

 

All in all, a good start to your army. Keep at it.
