Brother Jibreel
I had an idea to make an army that was part of a chapter that turned against the Emperor but decided to split off because they wanted to remain loyal. Obviously they wouldn't just walk back to Terra and say they were loyal not renegade so they would run away from Imperial society. Thus my chapter has been born Backround When the Thousand Sons turned against the Emperor during the Horus Heresy a small group of them disagreed with the primarchs judgement and split off from the Thousnd Sons and have been fighting for the Emperor ever since Traits Suffer not the works of heretics Never despair Drawbacks Aspire to Glory Have faith in suspicion I need to flesh it out but I think its an ok basic concept and I'll post more when I think of some please post any comments about how I can make it better and ideas for the finished thing Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/85188-idea-for-a-chapter/ Share on other sites
Librarian- Melechor
I thought the t-sons were pretty loyal to Magnus, and they became infected/ghosts after ahriman "cured" them, so I'm not sure if this will work.. ^_^ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/85188-idea-for-a-chapter/#findComment-985336 Share on other sites
Ferrata
I would avoid the "loyalist traitor" cliche if I was you. First I would make them their own chapter created after the heresy that just went bad. Also, not all traitors have to turn to Chaos, they can just turn away from the Imperium and the Emperor. Tubal
I don't think it's too unlikely that some of the Thousand Sons remained loyal to the Emperor even after he ordered the Space Wolves to destroy Prospero (their homeworld), but it would be a very small minority. Also, since were talking about the heresy, remember that it was ten thousand years ago. A small number of marines that don't have any backers, either the imperium or chaos, would not survive for very long. Non-chaotic space marines do eventually die from old age so unless they had the means to create new ones they would have just died off about nine thousand years ago :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/85188-idea-for-a-chapter/#findComment-985625 Share on other sites
Orkdung
Not only that, but then you fall into the category of: Where do I get my supplies Where do I fuel my ships Where do I get troops It all looks like Heresy and Chaos from this side of the monitor.
