Brother Nihm
Hello fellow hobbyists, Before the B&C went down I was asked to do a tutorial on how I converted one of my marines. This is my very first tutorial so bear with me. It's a simple one but if anything is unclear or can be improved upon, please let me know. :P HOW TO DE-BUNNIFY KHORNE BERZERKER HELMETS: Requirements: -A hobby knife. -A Steady hand. -Decent lightning. -Pliers/clippers. I strongly recommend that you DO NOT cut towards yourself, but away from you instead. This makes it harder but it's also alot safer. -Step 1- A Berzerker helm and my tool of choice. -Step 2- Snip off the ears at a good angle so that you have room to work a bit, with the leftovers. -Step 3- Cut down the side of the helmet to clear excess plastic, slowly. The bottom bar indicates approximately where you should stop. (No dont cut into the finger! ;)) -Step 4- Make your cut into the side of the helmet. Different angle: -Step 5- Carefully scrape off excess plastic. Don't fret and rush this part because one mistake here, will either ruin the helmet or require a little GS work to fix. This step usually takes me 15-20 minutes. End result: Different angle (it's not cleaned up yet): -an example- Different angle: -painted version I believe it's possible to come up with all sorts of new helmet combinations and I hope you will find this little tutorial useful. -Brother Nihm Edited July 13, 2009 by The Angelus Sanctus Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/85259-modelling-khorne-berzerker-helmet/ Share on other sites
