csandvik
Starting my new army! The POWER of PINK!!! http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g201/csa...ildrenLord2.jpg I put a glossy varnish on the R. wrist and L. lower leg, the rest was done with a matte varnish. I thought it added to slaaneesh style. Let me know what you think. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/85336-start-of-my-new-army/ Share on other sites
Brother Djibril
While I've never been a fan of that model (the face just isn't right), I think your painting is totally solid. My suggestions for improving the model would be to simply the paint scheme (try to not use too many colors as this makes the model look busy) and try to blend the pink a bit more. I'm sure when viewed from a bit further away it looks a lot better, too. csandvik
Yeah I have to tone down that transition. The face was hard to paint. I did it the way the model looked on the GW site. It is a mix of rotting flesh and some other colors. The left eye is a squinty eye so it does look a bit weird, but hey that's chaos. Oh and being busy looking is what slaaneesh is somewhat about.
