Blood Knives

 

Geneseed: Most likely Ultramarines or Raven Guard

Founding: 22nd

Symbol: A black knife with a red border

Homeworld: Mountainous

Combat Doctrine: Hit and Run attacks often infiltrating before the battle starts

Organisation: Codex Organisation with more Assault squads

Beliefs: That the Emperor and Primarchs were very powerful warrior lords but not gods. They also believe in battle that they must have blood on their knives by the end otherwise they will cut themselves to have drawn blood

 

C&C welcome. I know I need to expand them but this is just an outline I can build on. If anyone wants to know I am loosely basing them on the Gurkhas of Nepal who would be recruited to fight in the British army.

I would go for Ultramarine gene-seed for two reaons. Firstly, you can do so much with the Ultramarine gene-seed and secondly, if you go Raven Guard you have to deal with the mutations noted here

 

You seem to have the basics sorted, but for some reason they seem to lack character. Their home world is Mountainous, but what kind of enviroment is it? Desert? Ice? What kind of society do the humans live in? How does this produce good young fighting men?

 

Why have the resulted to infiltration and jump packs?

 

Why do they feel the need to have blood on their knives at the end of the battle, even if its theirs?
