Lord_Maggot
Greetings all. For your viewing pleasure or simply to steal my idea (Which turns out was already stolen from someone else ) I present my Tactical Scout Marine. This guy is going to either go into a Tactical Squad/Command Squad or maybe even be used as an Objective Marker. http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j298/miniaturemadness/000_0558.jpg There are a few extra details on here that after feedback I decided to remove. http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j298/miniaturemadness/bascout.jpg http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j298/miniaturemadness/bascout2.jpg Any comments criticisms appreciated. I've already noticed that the magazine on the bolter doesn't sit straight and there is some dodgy GS stuff on the raised arm. Any helpful hints on stopped bits attaching themselves? Oh and the damm mold line that appeared in the photo. My camera must have a setting to add them later on B) Oh and it doesn't show up well on the photos but I've modelled a mine on the base. It shows as a small flash of silver roughly where he's looking. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/85821-blood-angel-scout-marine/ Share on other sites
INKS
Didn't notice that he was staring at something on the ground at first. Very cool effect btw. I like it B) nice paint job as well. Lord_Maggot
http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j298/miniaturemadness/bascout3.jpg Hopefully this pic will show it a little better :D My way of painting red - Two layers of Blood Red basecoat on a white sprayed basecoat. Chestnut wash with a bit of purple added all diluted with magic wash (Made from 3 water to 1 klear) Touch up the red putting more coats to do layering where needed. Watered down black in the crevases of the armour (Top of thights on the arms etc) Highlight all edges with blazing orage Highlight very top of previous highlights with the next orange (Fiery orange I think) Going to do some stage photos eventually for this helpful thread in the BA forums. Hope it helps. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/85821-blood-angel-scout-marine/#findComment-993450 Share on other sites
