INKS
First of all fantstic job. Now room for improvment time. (As you know 99% of need it including myself) The red looks unhighlighted. Just looks red to me, it would be nice to see a different shade of red in there as well to make it look less flat. Her Hair looks just black, a solid mass of it at that. Again highlights woud help fix this up. Ok the more I look at the model the more areas I see without highlights that I think would benefit from it greatly. I'll just list them here. Roses, Sword blade, the white cape is nice but need just a few more highlights (there seem to be some already), the 2 red symbols on her thigh are too flat, they need some dry drushing / highlights. These are all little things that you could touch up here and there, nothing drastic. Over all a fantastic job. Dusty
nice that you like it^^ yeah the sword could use some more highligts... there are some, but they are not so recognisable. the cam does the mini no justice. i think i'll have to spend some money on a new one :) the red.. yes... i have some problems painting red, but this time it went good, i highlighted up to a 50:50 mix of blood red and blazing orange, but as mentioned the cam... in fact if you have the mini in youre hands it looks much better, though there is still room for improvement. Learning by doing, right? :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/85853-living-saint/#findComment-993724 Share on other sites
INKS
I can understand that. I have a simular problem with my camera. Mini's always look better in person :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/85853-living-saint/#findComment-993727 Share on other sites
MasterSpyder
Looks a bit shiny, maybe use some matte varnish to tone that down? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/85853-living-saint/#findComment-993756 Share on other sites
