DanTheAngry
In a fit of painting madness where I actually sat down and painted something, I got these guys done! Your standard inquisitorial storm troopers black and red, the Sergeants sword did come out pretty cool though... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v716/DanTheAngry/Deamon%20Hunters/StormTrooper001.jpg The Squad http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v716/DanTheAngry/Deamon%20Hunters/StormTrooper002.jpg The Plasma Gunners http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v716/DanTheAngry/Deamon%20Hunters/StormTrooper003.jpg The Seargeant These guys are going to form the core of the combat patrol that I will use for the Medusa campaign. Now to paint up their ride... C and C welcome Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/86747-inquisitorial-storm-troopers/ Share on other sites
Gyson_Vore
Very nice, very clean, and I have to say, you weren't kidding about the sword. The red cloth really compliments the black armor, and the green on the visor is very clean. Fallen
Nice! You probably spent more time on the sarge, but his red tones look a lot better than the troopers. If you could do them all to that standard, it would brighten them up a bit. Another dab of color on the cables I think would help a lot. Actually, I like the bases a lot - plain ole' rubble, but it's got texture and depth, and it's a good contrasting color to the model. I'm not really taken with this current craze of adding all kinds of fanciness on the base. DanTheAngry
@Fallen I think the cables are going to be used to record kills or something later on. But, I may do something else with them. @Gyson_Vore Thanks man Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/86747-inquisitorial-storm-troopers/#findComment-1004666 Share on other sites
Penitent Dreadnought
Ah, plasmaguns. Weapon of the faithful (if wearing PA) and the finger-crossers (if wearing 4+ or worse). :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/86747-inquisitorial-storm-troopers/#findComment-1004863 Share on other sites

Nicorex
I belive Storm troopers get away with it because they are falling under the Inquisitor catagory whitch is legal. Obliterator
very good, but isnt this a space marines forum? Im surprised that Obliterator hasnt noticed it yetgood though He has noticed it :) . Stormtroopers have always been allowed because they are in the Inquisition codexes. The Lost and the Damned are also allowed because of their ties with Chaos Marines. If you want to post Imperial Guard stuff, than this is only allowed in the Inquisition forum, but only if its a legal choice in the codex (so no Basilisk for example), and if it has clear ties with your Inquisition army. So if you painted it your Imperial Guard as the Cadian 8th, your pics better have an Inquisitorial element in them. On the Stormtroopers: great job, I especially like the power sword! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/86747-inquisitorial-storm-troopers/#findComment-1004897 Share on other sites

Chronos
I really like them. The color scheme really fits the theme, dark and sinister. Great work. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/86747-inquisitorial-storm-troopers/#findComment-1005176 Share on other sites

Havock
Can't you take the "thing with the bug gun" as part of your allies? <_< Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/86747-inquisitorial-storm-troopers/#findComment-1005267 Share on other sites
Obliterator
Or if you do show off that Basilisk, there'd better be some IW around it... My main army is Imperial Fists. Do you really think I am going to encourage IW players <_< ? Can't you take the "thing with the bug gun" as part of your allies? Not in a legal Inquisition army. Prot
I love the scheme you came up with. But the darkness, combined with the reds.... well I could just see it working very well in a "Blood Pact" army (have you read Traitor General?). Regardless, nice job. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/86747-inquisitorial-storm-troopers/#findComment-1005528 Share on other sites
Marshal Draziel
I've tried myself to catch this color on my own Inquisitorial Honour Cadre (that's their name ^_^ ) However -yours really strike me as being mean! And cunning... ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/86747-inquisitorial-storm-troopers/#findComment-1005784 Share on other sites
DanTheAngry
@prot I have not read traitor general yet although I do own it.
