Artimis Vergadin
Hey all, looking into getting some vallejo paints. Need comparisons though...deos anybody have something that tells me what of their colors match up to GW model paints? :cuss Also game colors or model colors for the range? So confused :) So confused! :D Thanks in advance ;) Artimis Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/86926-vallejo-paint/ Share on other sites
The Angelus Sanctus
I know at the stockist i buy my Vallejos from they have a nice lil name to name chart for citadel to vallejo, although the names arent too different, so it isnt too hard to guess the names. Game colors are pretty much the equivalent of the citadel range, whilst the model range has a LARGE variety, covering alot of in between shades, although i find the model range (although anyone is free to correct me if i am mistaken) that it seems more of an army/camoflage base for paints. If you want replacements to your citadel range without having the colors vary by 10 shades etc, the Game colors are for you. Librarian Bander
Vallejo Paints are very good imo. You should try some out before you stick with them though. I use vallejo and some gw paints. Vallejo is high quality and I own about 40 of these paints that I bought over a period of 2 days lol(just shows how much i like them) BTW here is a chart that will help show the gw and vallejo paints.Chart Hope that helps. Brother apocalyptic
I use vallejo, better coverage (more pigments in the paint), smoother paints.. and they are cheaper :) If you use em, go with the model color range.. it has more to choose, and a few special colors!
