St Celestine

Recommended Posts

Hello, I'm making a St Celestine now and I've already started changing her appearance up a bit to which I'll have pictures of once I can score a digi-cam. For right now I sculpted longer hair and cut off her dove and gave her a hell pistol. Why? Hell Pistols kill people... doves I don't know what doves do but they don't kill people. The snag I ran into is, I want to give her wings. No not that 100000 times done angel wings I want baroque mechanical wings and I haven't been able to find a suitable bit to do the job, I'm thinking a penitent engine leg but I'd really like to hear what other people have to say.

i'll have to see if i have enough swords but i'd be willing to give that a try, i'm just trying to get a really rustic and baroque look, nothing stream lined. The reason i decided against using the angel wings was because i wanted it to look like she flew by faith and pre heresy technology not some hi tech STC she found or something.

Techno-organic wings would look pretty cool.

Blade/feathers would also be a refreshing change.

A Battle Angel Fan? Good Taste  Someone should Make her as an Inquisitor or something.

As for what to make techno-organic wings out of.... Dunno, you might almost wasnt to make your own with plasticard and wire plus some greenstuff.

Make the frame of the wings out of stiff wire and some GS, once thats set, cut long "feathers" out of the thinnest plasticard you can find and overlap them to get the effect you want, GS them onto the framework you already made.

If you make sure to have the wires that for the base actually glued into drilled holes int he model, they should be fairly durable.

Just a thought though... it proably would be time consuming and dificult, but at least you'dbe able to customize it to whatever shape and look you wanted.
