Time to add my second Space Wolves dread. This time, a Contemptor.

10 'Marv' points to whoever can spot the not-so-deliberate mistake (and, no. I don't mean a Space Wolf in a Contemptor chassis)

@marmoogy - I cannot see any sort of mistake apart from it looking like like a Crimson Fist or an Ultramarine in paintjob:wink:

My Black Templar dreadnough. Magnetised to allow fielding as regular or venerable with a variety of weapons.

As always comments and criticism are welcomed.

First Dreadnought painted in over 10 years and first ever Contemptor, Augustus Dallo of my 33rd Company Night Lords:

My VII Legion Contemptor Mortis. I always imagined the Imperial Fists as the Golden Praetorian's so I rocked the Viva Metallica style scheme with the crimson as my company colors.

As far as I know, there aren't any posted in this topic, so allow me to be the first (if that is the case)! :happy.: It still needs finishing, but not by much.

A Penitent Engine from the Order of the Dauntless Spirit, known as "The Test"

"The Penitent Engine is the final method of redemption available to those who have fallen from His grace. It is an absolution, a rededication of ones soul to Him on Earth. The Penitent Engine known as the Test is a device unlike most others. Not only does it dredge up each and every sin committed by its occupant, but it forces them to remember the sins of its previous occupants as well. The fury, the despair and the nigh upon psychopathic need to enter the fray is palpable to those who witness it. It serves as a rallying point, for no Sister would ever retreat whilst the Test still stands. But it also acts as a warning - Be not be wanting in your service to the God-Emperor, for eventually the Test will be waiting for you..." - From the personal notes of Canoness Saffron Sera, of the Order of the Dauntless Spirit.

@Aquilanus - What a jolly fine model you have constructed and painted!

Problems:

1) Its not Adeptus Astartes.

2) Its not a Dreadnought.

So a Ronseal moment, nice model wrong thread. I could report it to a Moderati, oh yes, but hmm....

(Hopefully that displays the pic... I'm trying this all from mobile)

My Legion Mortis Dread, built from a regular dread and some parts of an ironclad with the missiles from a Stonehaven. Basing needs a lot of attention but that will come later.

Believe I made a post in this thread a few years ago, many pages back. Image links to those are now broken, and the dreads I posted then have all been reposed, rebased or both. Also, I have at least doubled my dread count since then as well, so here goes:

@poom - Very nice models there, although the Contemptor is painted grey and not black!
