Ahmato
Nice stuff so far, is that rust on that company champion :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/88340-more-medusawing/#findComment-1018475 Share on other sites
Chronophague
Also, I know the left leg is funky but that the only position it could be in sinceo f the struture of the body. Well, if you repositioned the thigh, then you could adjust the leg more to your liking, I don't buy the "only" position comment at all. If a pose looks "wrong" there is almost a 100% chanse that there are other possible positions. Other than that they look intresting. Now get painting that stuff. ;) Cheers Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/88340-more-medusawing/#findComment-1018540 Share on other sites
Legacy40k
Why arent they all on bikes? It's starting to bother me with all these "wing" armies out there, and that it is taken from "death wing" to associate with Terminators, but... what about Raven Wing? Wing obviously doesnt mean terminators, just a specialist Dark Angels force. Anyways. Not really anything to say yet, there is still a lot of work to be done on them. Herald_of_Nurgle
Thanks for the all the comments so far, I hope to get more done by Saturday. Nice stuff so far, is that rust on that company champion blink.gifNah. It is one of the raptor arms I did prime couple years back, but never got to painting thosae guys since of my switch from Death Guard to infantry Iron Warriors. Well, if you repositioned the thigh, then you could adjust the leg more to your liking, I don't buy the "only" position comment at all. If a pose looks "wrong" there is almost a 100% chanse that there are other possible positions. msn-wink.gif I can try again to re-work the legs, there probably was ideas I haven't done yet. :D It's starting to bother me with all these "wing" armies out there, and that it is taken from "death wing" to associate with Terminators, but... what about Raven Wing? Wing obviously doesnt mean terminators, just a specialist Dark Angels force. I personally understand where you coming from and personally I jsut keep calling at my store "The 1st Company of the Sons of Medusa Chapter." But when having images and titles on the net it is sort of hard to try and fit that big of a name in topics on forums. :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/88340-more-medusawing/#findComment-1018691 Share on other sites

Alpha PTP
Looking awsome so far, JJ. The paint is starting to look thick on the Medusawing stuff, start thinning your paints for them. :3 Can't wait to see them at the shop this week. Herald_of_Nurgle
I also forgot to put up my finished Terminator you all might remember on the X-Gamer topic with my bad pics. Well, I took the intiative and took a better image. Hope you enjoy :3 http://www.pbase.com/nemmy/image/61027136.jpg After talking to Madscuzzy, I'm thinking of making the grey of the gun a scrab red color to sort of fit with the whole "Medusa" thing. That and him and me both agreed that a the darker red would be a very nice contrast to the bright green. But, that is still in the air. Ahmato
Don't put red on him! IMO, all that ever does to a model, is turn it into a Christmas marine, not too sure why, but thats the way I see red and green :jaw: Also, I think that the gravel on the base would look good with a grey drybrush, to tie it in with the other wreckage on the base ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/88340-more-medusawing/#findComment-1019164 Share on other sites
Herald_of_Nurgle
O_o Yes Sir Ahmato. No red or evil things will fall upon me B) But seriously, somehow the grey does look too plain, but I'm not sure what color to do it in? Got any suggestions? Khrangar
What about black? If you did that, I'd suggest making the cables on the arm(s) black as well so that it's not too distracting. Herald_of_Nurgle
I like tha tidea bout the black. But, something about the purple coils helps give a bit of contrast to the green. That and it looks pretty :3 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/88340-more-medusawing/#findComment-1019359 Share on other sites
brenn
Those termies look... er... GREEN !!! The kind of bright colour I would never dare... Maybe a little wash of green ink ?
