It was a compliment mate :)

Converted mine from a normal termie. Too bored of loyalist marines to paint them up, even tho they look kinda cool. I decided to make the psychic hood resemble a sorta halo above his head. :)

Here's an Angel Guard termie librarian. Still wery painting in progress. -_-

Cheers

Love the desert colour you've got going on there Rymeer :D

Where is the book on the Librarian from?

The book is from the WFB game, it's the Skaven plague rat's book. All that's been done is shave off the skaven hand holding the book at about where the Termie's hand is holding it. Painting, and a very small ammount of bending of fingers to hold the book.

The Libby's power weapon is made from a bretonian knight helmet crest of a lion holding a hammer, and the wings off of one of the winged skull standard tips, mounted on the cut down hafts of two power axes, where the axe part was lopped off to use the cabled area for the 'power' part of power weapon.

Thanks for the C&C about the color scheme... the colors are Bubonic Brown (the desert yellowish color, too washed out by the photographing), and Bestail Brown (the near-chocolate brown color). I used a lot of bronze instead of Boltmetal, since the Chapter recruits from a bronze age society, and I felt that a preponderence of bronze would make the Chapter's Marines feel 'more at ease' with the familiar color. Plus, bronze does not reflect light as well as steel would, and in deserts and savannahs, the Crusading Lions would be able to get closer to foes without detection than they would with all that shiney silvery boltmetal.

The Holy Great Lion of Terra's Blessings upon Thee, Frater.
