madscuzzy
It's a wonder I didn't do this earlier. Its a bigger wonder that it turned out to be pretty good. Well at the dimensions are right. Colour and lookwise... well... I got it as close as I could with what I had. It's prollie a lot easier to do it nowadays with all the funkie new parts. Haha... http://www.scuzworks.com/SL40K/Marines/legoDP/IMG_4141.jpg http://www.scuzworks.com/SL40K/Marines/legoDP/IMG_4144.jpg http://www.scuzworks.com/SL40K/Marines/legoDP/IMG_4148.jpg

StratoKhan
I'm in awe. The fact that it works is even better. It's quite a faithful replica. I'm just impressed that you came up with the idea to do it.

Vampiric_Turnip
That looks really good! If some people are willing to kill some legos, you could dremel off the pegs and plate it up with plastikard, add insignias and stuff and paint it up. It would also be very cost effective. Hemal
As stated - just plate up the lego symbols, and fill the gam=pes etc - and you have a bonafide drop-pod replacement which is "scratch-built"

Penitent Dreadnought
It's prollie a lot easier to do it nowadays with all the funkie new parts. Yup, they actually have a single piece that basically replicates the FW Drop Pod's doors, without using, what, twenty pieces like you did? Lego 40k GW or Lego, the current Land Speeder design still looks like a flying shoe. Imperator=][=Romanus
you could definetly make that tourny legal if you covered the lego holes with thin plasticard or putty. The dimensions are so similar to the original, good work.
Obliterator
Excellent drop pod! Now make a Thunderhawk :D !
PurpleHarold
Thats awesome. But IS it tounry illigal? if so why? its just plastic afte all. And what could yo do to it to make it tourney legal?
GeneralStukov
My one question is... why is it illegal? is it because its not GW parts? thats rather goofy.. Drop pods are only momentary scenery pieces are they not?
