VtrAxX
Looks cool. Some pointers: Smooth coverages, Mould lines!!, and basically more clean painting. But other than those three things its nice and has a berzerker feel, but arent zerks suppose to have BP and CCW? (ex. Chainswords?) Anyways paint the full squad! StratoKhan
That's not a bad choice of colours, but the things that are letting the model down are the mould lines and the fuzzy texture you have on certain parts of the model. The mould lines you can fix by simply taking a small file and filing any offensive ridges off. You can even do it after painting and then paint over them again. Removing mould lines is a big step in improving a model's appearance. The primer fuzz is a problem a lot of people have, and it can be a result of many factors, but the position of the spray in regards to the miniature can be the issue, or the temperature, some say. When you get a fuzzy basecoat, I suggest you take some sandpaper, sand off the fuzz, and touch up the coat with some Chaos black (I assume you're priming black). The face will definitely benefit from a wash, as you mentioned. The base is actually quite nicely done. Hope that helps. The Angelus Sanctus
You might also want to thin down your paints as some of the paint texture does look thick in some areas. Best to grab a lil painting palette (no need to buy one, i personally use old ice cream container lids), put a few dabs of paint onto the tray, a drop of water and while you paint water down the paint before you apply it to the mini. This way you can use several thin coats of paint rather than one excessively thick coat of paint. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/88885-my-berserker/#findComment-1022316 Share on other sites
