chaplain mortis
hey all well im building some more terminators.. (this time for black templars) and just needed some comments on my progress so far: is it looking techie enough???.. i have still to build the servo harness but will post more pics when that has been done cheers in advance http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y2/chaplainmortis/mine/steves007.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y2/chaplainmortis/mine/s1.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y2/chaplainmortis/mine/13.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y2/chaplainmortis/mine/s4.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y2/chaplainmortis/mine/s5.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/88907-terminator-techie-mk3/ Share on other sites
Black Daemon Templar
Wow, nice! How did you make the "robe"? It looks suitably techie, but I would replace the instrument in his left hand. The Auspex (or whatever it's called) is a bit to common to be cool. Ahmato
It looks great, IMO  Although, I would turn his wrist slightly, as at the moment he is not really looking at the Auxpex screen, but at its side, if you know what I mean :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/88907-terminator-techie-mk3/#findComment-1022513 Share on other sites
Sagan
Looking great so far. Are you going to work alot of the existing mini traits from the existing tech marines? Belchuil
Nice, looking good. Personally I reckon a termie suit would have enough tech built in to make auspex redundant, but if it's a case of WYSIWYG then fair nuff looks good anyway. I would like this guy a lot if you were able to make one of his limbs bionic. His right arm and leg being bionic would look great imo (tooko damage on right side - hench bionic right side of head). ironloki
Looks funky. I love his little Tabard thing. Whats the plan for his right hand? Perhaps a big spanner or whatever the techmarine usually has  Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/88907-terminator-techie-mk3/#findComment-1022556 Share on other sites
chaplain mortis
thanks for the replies  the "robe" is mad from the groin plates you get in the assault terminator box...just stick em together @ yadrinas: like the idea of one bionic side...hmmmmm now to search through the space marine bitz for more bionic pieces @ sagan: im only taking the pieces from the original power armour techie, i:e the servo harness power axe.. @iron loki: i was thinking of using a thunder hammer from the assault termies and just chopping and changing the top and bottom of it... power axe head and maybe a spanner thingy at the bottom... not sure wether to add a second storm bolter to the right arm???? cheers Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/88907-terminator-techie-mk3/#findComment-1023028 Share on other sites
T14
I hate to be a stick in the mud, but I'm not sure that a termie can take a full servo harness. read q13 for more but the model looks good so far. Grey Ghost
would you have a storm sheild with the thunder hammer? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/88907-terminator-techie-mk3/#findComment-1023035 Share on other sites
chaplain mortis
the servo harness is really just for show...it will lokk like an earlier version i made: et voila: http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y2/chaplainmortis/mine/baldtekky2.jpg just to make him even bigger  and im just using the thunder hammer as a base for the power axe..not as wargear.. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/88907-terminator-techie-mk3/#findComment-1023043 Share on other sites
Grey Ghost
servo harness looks good - though consider putting it higher up, maybe from the large flat square section behind the head. You could even hollow out the section under neath at the back and have the arms extended out of hear - just my 2 cents. ironloki
 .... Very cool and I love the golden shine to that servo arm device. Can't wait to see the other guy finished. Wow dude...sweet...and...BIG  Are you guys talking about the first one (painted, finished product) or the topic one (in the first post)? I mean, you realize these are two different models, right?
