So far, as chapter details go, this is a bit scant. If you haven't already, I'd suggest taking some time to read The Ultimate DIY guide. Now as to what's there:

 

Warp storms don't typically affect tectonic activity, though it's certainly a possibility. What about that storm caused such a specific effect over such a wide area? Another idea would be to have an area of space that had been under the thumb of a chaos fleet, and the battles to retake the systems involved planetary bombardment of such magnitude that it caused crust to rupture and thus the lava flows.

 

While it's always entertaining to create "the best of the best," often more limited personalities make for better fluff, as they really have to strive and grow to pull victories from the jaws of uncertainty.

That's pretty cool. I especially like the concept for the librarian's sword. That'll be fun to model. Speaking of which, do you already have the chapter painted? If you do, post it in the PC&A (Painting, Converting and Artwork Forum)! I want to see! (especially if they're orange, I need inspiration)
