WhiteSpeed
Flash, dont use a knife, see if you can pick up a small file....or sand paper even! Either that, or lay the blade onto the surface and very slowly shave the flash off. hope this helps Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/89116-black-legion-multi-question/#findComment-1024769 Share on other sites
Blacklegion4life
I meant to include that I wanted to add the theme of black legion being like a clan, differnet divisions, like the troops all are part of the same clan but some can inflitrate, some can do magick better, etc. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/89116-black-legion-multi-question/#findComment-1024774 Share on other sites
StratoKhan
I meant to include that I wanted to add the theme of black legion being like a clan, differnet divisions, like the troops all are part of the same clan but some can inflitrate, some can do magick better, etc. The Black Legion are organised in Black Companies. I would assume that the Warlords that lead the different Companies have equipped and trained them to suit their particular battle ethos. To theme them, a simple way would be to add a simple unifying symbol to banners, vehicles, and armour. Perhaps painting a certain small part of the armour a certain colour. It's as easy as that. For the Gold - 1. Basecoat Boltgun Metal. 2. Shining Gold. (I only partially cover, if done right it can look pretty cool) 3. Burnished Gold medium highlights. 4. Mithril Silver final highlights. 5. Chestnut Ink wash. 6. Touch up any highlights if needs be with more Mithril Silver.
