Apemantus
This is the second time I've attempted to convert the IF chapter master, the first was a complete failure so it's time for round two. I went back to basics and looked at the IF fluff for help, first thing was what he looked like, according to the Inquisition war' the events in the book took place 1000 years before the present date (I think that's correct, though i may need to check) which would mean the events in 'Space Marine' would be even older, i discarded this as it would make Pugh older than Dante. (which didn't seem right) At first I planned on giving him two swords as every other captain (bar lysander) is armed a blade of some kind. this changed when I read former chapter master Lazerian was armed with a thunder hammer (it didn't say if it was the Fist of Dorn or not) so I gave Pugh Lysander's weapons again I didn't like it. I then found an old concept drawing done by Mark Gibbons which showed Lysander armed with two Thunder Hammers so I choose that Idea as it looks like he's about to smash down a wall, to make him stand out even more I've given him two storm shields. Thanks to MoS for his help and Any ideas would be appreciated http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y156/funkyjo/pugh.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/89139-vladimir-pugh/ Share on other sites
Black Daemon Templar
From what I can see it looks pretty good. I can't help but question the anatomy of the thing though. DanTheAngry
It looks alright, the putty under the shoulder looks alittle rough. I seems like you've done alot of research into this project. Ardus
Looks good, what does he have - 2 hammers and 2 t shields? Just one thing, he needs to look up more. Looks like he doesn't want to trip. Got any other views? Ardus. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/89139-vladimir-pugh/#findComment-1025104 Share on other sites
Slotff
I really like it, but I think I will be able to see the detail more when it is painted. So please post! :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/89139-vladimir-pugh/#findComment-1025129 Share on other sites
Master of Sanctity
That's pretty funny (in a good way!) because that is exactly how I pictured Pugh! Good job on the Chapter Master of the Imperial Fists, I can't wait to see the final result.
