Morfesto
I am about to start bulking up the legs for my daemon prince and I would like to know how to make the green stuff smooth and straight. Like in this example (which is great because I am working with a obliterator for a base allso) http://www.prophet-miniatures.com/gallery/...ize/typhus1.jpg or http://www.prophet-miniatures.com/gallery/...nurglelord1.jpg **EDIT: Images changed to links. blamb
to make it smooth i saw somewhere to just rub it softly with water, which seems to work well for me. as for straight, patience and maybe a flat knife or something flat and small enough. Artimis Vergadin
My humble and almost worthless experience with GS is that water and rubbing it with your finger will produce smooth results. But always keep your finger in motion, otherwise you'll like a print, and you don't want that. zbo
Yes thats how you make smooth as for straight here is what I would do. Fill out the leg with GS but leave make it about 1mm to thin. Do worry and the smoothness here as it isn't important. Let that cure. Next get somthing flat (plate ect) and cover it in oil. Place a ball of GS on the plate and keep rubbing it with you fingger until its smooth and about 1mm thick. Leave it for a while (15 mins) then cut it to shape with a sharp tool but make sure its wet. The simply pick it up and wrap it around the leg (work out the measurements of the leg first). Fix and funger prints by rubbing it and it should be prefect. Hope that helps ~zbo Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/89208-a-quick-question-about-green-stuff/#findComment-1025977 Share on other sites
