After reading Elusive71's article here, I had to give it a try.

I started with:

  1. 1 Winged Skull torso front
  2. 1 Winged Skull-and-Crossbones torso front (for the abdomen)
  3. 1 regular torso back

First, I cut the abdomen and belt off of A and the inverse portion off of B, leaving only the belt and abdomen.

Then, instead of using a sheet of spacer (because the joint line for the torso pieces is actually very curvy), I glued a piece of 0.03 inch styrene strip onto C, and then glued A onto the spacer.

Getting the abdomen and belt of B to fit right took a few test fits with sanding in between stages. Carefully cut off the buckle with a razor blade before gluing B into place. (It's much more difficult if you forget like I did :) )

I then glued the buckle back in place, but lower for the "double thickness" belt, and used it as a base for gluing on a strip of 0.02 x 0.06 inch styrene strip.

Then I used green stuff to fill in all the gaps and to fix any bad casting problems. Locations of note:

  1. Gaps in the sides of the collar
  2. The side "seam" at the top of the belt (which appears to be a slightly bad cast)
  3. Extending the buckle hardware for the double-wide belt

I used the extra GS to partially fill in the bottom of the torso (where the legs will fit) to make the leg portion of the task easier.

It'll need a little sanding after the GS cures completely, but the torso is essentially done.

Later... Legs!
