Nostromo
i just wondered - how do you do yours? I think I'll do a few more - those two prottypes are obviously themed for a citifight and a wilder environment. http://home.arcor.de/ravengrove/grafik/warhammer/terrain/minenfeld2.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/89709-whirlwind-castellan-minefields/ Share on other sites

Dawn of the Dogs
looks good, but they look a bit too big. seems anyone could just waltz between them. perhaps making more of them or making them smaller. Nostromo
looks good, but they look a bit too big. seems anyone could just waltz between them. perhaps making more of them or making them smaller. yes, i considered that when i made the mines. i decided not to make them smaller so it would be easier to recognize the minefield (for the players, of course :( ). They also blend with some tables so one might in fact forget about them. Brother-Librarian Swintha
Are you just gonna leave them green? Maybe add some little spikes to the top of it...like the actual mines. madscuzzy
One thing one has to consider about the minefields is that someone can land it ON a unit, which means models have to be removed and placed over the marker. Quite risky IMHO. These babies look great, but seem betta if use on areas where there aren't models already there. I use the old spacehulk flamer markers which are flat, and can be slid under enemy model bases.
