Looks very snazzy to me :tu:

The extra bits and pieces also help bring out the dreadnought as well, so well done in that area.

I'd definitely say, magnetise as many arms as you can B) The more the merrier in fact! That way you have several options available to you. Although if you are pressed for time, id say get the Assault Cannon arm done up first and the rest can follow.

That there is a nice dred. One thing I'm not too sure about though is the shields on both of the legs. I say keep one shield (probable the one on it's left leg to counter the big ass templar logo on the right). You could replace the right on with maybe a parchment chained to the leg (but that's obviously up to you). Also, I say he needs more purity seals...many, many more purity seals.

Looks nice though.

Looks fantastic so far. Consider having the drill point up a bit, you know, more threatening-like. The rocks look out of place and detract from the overall model - I'd take them off. I like the beam on the ground, maybe incorporate into some kind of mound? That would look cool.

It is looking VERY pretty

The back banners seem to be from the throne of judgement. I can't place the front banner or the tabard. Where are those from?

I agree that there might be a slight maltese cross overload on the legs, but you could introduce some variation by painting the shields in different heraldic (sp?) patterns.

cheers

hey guys

thanks for the replies..a;ways good to get a bit of feedback

well the banners with the braziers are from the throne of judgment as is the loin cloth...the main banner with the skeleton if from the cenobyte servitor that comes with chappie grimaldus...thought it looks quite fitting :)

i have a few more cloths to put on which are from the empire steam tank

the drill arm is a nice piece of kit...allows for quite a few poses as oppsed to the standard dread arm..and hardly any cleaning to do on it..

the crosses will be painted in different colours/patterns just to break up the look of them and there are more purity seals to be added

@zbo...cheers that was the pose i was aiming for..for that purpose i made the drill pieces open to look as if he was swinging round to give someone a bad bad day.

the second dread im getting is the forgeworld black templars dread so i needed to make sure this one was suitably ornate as to not get overshadowed by his brother..

you gotta love space marine kits! so versatile
