Flayed Skin on Marines

Recommended Posts

Greetings,

I was wondering iof you could all help me out with a little problem I'm having. I want to get an effect on marines that looks similar to the way the flesh drapes over Necron Flayed Ones. I've tried to find a way of creating the effect but had no luck.

Heres a pic to help;

If anyone knows how to create this effect, it would be a great help!

Thanks in advance

I would recommend very thin bits of GS that have been 'loosely' shaped into irregular patterns and then laid over marine armor. Once its cured for a bit, you can smooth out the GS to remove any unwanted fingerprints and with a toothpick, perhaps make some very minor folds and contours in the skin, or even try to shape the GS a bit more to resemble where the skin was 'flayed' from. You can also try making small gabs to simulate flayed skin off a face.

Some of the EC componenents have some nice effects of flayed skin over armor.

you could perhaps stretch the GS real thin and then drap it over the area you ant and glue it on after you know where you want it, and with the green stuff so thin you could easilly cut eye and mouth holes into it.

I just hope your not doing loyalist, cause if you are they're one sick load of mother :P 's

Word bearers eh? sweet, they're the army I'm doing after my beastmen are done. As for making your own possesed, great job on that, the new Games-Workshop ones are horrible beyond description, I don't know why they did them like that, they shoulda done them all black metal and satanist lookng IMHO
