Psykochiken
well, i have lots of marines (mostly with bolters) and 2 dreads and 2 librarian and a chaplain and 2 captains :) i just hate making HQ peoples  I tried droppods but there is too much terain at my local tables, so that didn't work(Plus i was bad at it) anyway i need a way to get across a small board 24"ish using traits not vehicals, and 1 trait that is good V. eldar, but doesn't stink V. other armies. the only one that seems good is see but don't be seen, but is it worth it??? 2000 points with 1 detachment is the game probally rules of engagement 50$ is the budget Thanks!!!! Ferrata
If you have lots of Terrian on your table, then Infilitrate will come in useful because you will nearly be able to deploy anywhere on the table. That takes each Marine to 19 points each (including Frags) which, for your 60 Marines equals 1140 points. Now, with your number of HQ's you could make two very large Command Squads, but I would suggest against this because they are generally too many eggs. Maybe take a Master and Librarian/Chaplain depending on who your facing (combat/shooty armour respectively), thats about another 250 points. You could always go for No Mercy No Respite and give Furious Charge to your tactical squads, or Suffer...Heretics and give them Tank Hunters. Still leaves you about 500 points short off 2k. Your two Dreads make you upto about 1750, then you have 250 points and $50. Maybe use this to buy parts to make Veteran Sergeants (it's like making HQ's only less fancy) and Specialists for your Command Squad. Captain Xavier
Infiltrate is a good idea if you want to maximize the charging abilities of your marines take purity above all as this reduces the chances of your marines falling back and leaving holes in your battle line good luck and good hunting Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/89842-how-to-make-60-space-marines-into-an-army/#findComment-1034884 Share on other sites
