alright so i finally got to drawing the guy and its going alright had some problems with angles and such(first ever drawing from a model that i created, that wasnt from another persons drawing/picture....so basicly its a first)

anyways hes a chapter master for a chapter i made awhile ago...a Chapter that strayed from the emperor and now lives on a feral planet with dragons

**oh still dont have adobe back so ya, uncropped/fixed photos..sorry about that..)

comment criticize whatever, anything look awkward in the drawing so far?, any ideas for the model/drawing?

both are still WIPs, as you can tell i dont have all the GS on yet, the head isnt near done on the model, the drawing shows more or less what its going to look like...annnnd neither drawing nor pictures show the mini dragon that flies with him! i cut him up and started him again :)

+EDIT+ If you know that the image is over-sized and doesn't conform to the rules of the B&C for posting, you should simply make it a link instead of posting the actual image. Please take a chance to re-read the PCA rules and the B&C rules on posting images when you get a chance. -Brother Tyler

new plastic lightning claws would look better and you need to clean up your green stuff.

i do like the concept drawing thought

**new plastic ones look like brass knuckles, these claws look more natural which i think suits a feral army...and what parts of the GS need fixing exactly?

Bear with Brother Krusade, he's not been the same since the Dark Eldar stole his eyes. ;)

I like the aquilla, it'd be nice to get a better shot of it.

***hahaha no worries, i dont mind the odd harsh(realistic) comment if thats what he sees its what he sees, but i do need explanation when there are some negative comments(just so i can know where and what exactly you are talking about)

anyways heres the design i did on his chestplate that you can barely see hahaha, i cant get a good picture of the actual sculpting because greenstuff doesnt seem to take well (oh wait...i do still have the old pictures!)

and there, some B&C members may remember this model from before the crash, ive done only a slight amount of work on it since, i am planning on re-doing some parts, mostly touch ups, but the leg greave designs arent to my liking so i will re-do adjust them

The pics are quite blurry; I'm sure the detail will show up quite nicely when the model is painted.

***ya i know...i posted them only for a general idea, i took about 4379847189041 pictures from different angles, with different settings/lighting everything... its cuz the chest plate is rounded and reflects light right where the main detail is!

i originally was going to paint detail on the armour, and i think thats what im going to do with the remaining parts, the chest plate was fine because it was a large piece, but engraving other parts i dont think will look as effective

the other problem is i cant tell how flat/smooth some parts are, because they look flat smooth, but once painted might show up! ;)

I'd give milliput a go if you want a well defined design on the breastplate. That or brown stuff. -Jason

***well i think i did well enough on this mini, but in the future i will consider that for sure as i want to be able to sand to smoothen it out instead of re-doing the whole thing some times!

Not having Adobe up and running is not an excuse for posting pics you know are oversized.

This is a blatent rules violation.

***??? no i said that because the photos are from a distance, the only photo that was too big i didnt realise at first, and after posting it, i did realise it and edited it out with an older one that did fit size...(and this would be the one with the drawn design)

Actually, Joker is referring to the over-sized image that I edited out of your initial post (turning it into a link). So the comment wasn't "useless". When you get a chance, please take a chance and read the rules of the B&C and the PCA rules. That should clear the issue up and prevent further similar incidents.

***huh...wow i apologise, i didnt even realise that one was over 700... seemed to fit on my screen, and i guess i saw the 600 part of the number and didnt realise...well then...(oh and i have read the rules several times and i do always make them smaller, but i didnt realise that one was over, nor edited to a link until now)

oh well problem solved
