Hooded scout snipers

Well I finished a squad of five scout snipers. I do not like the jay leno heads they provide with the kit, so I added wood elf hooded heads to it for a more stealthy feel.

I used this as inspiration...

My camera is bad at extreme macro range so no, no close ups of the face. Sorry I tried.

But if this helps at all they do have fine features, but then again, they actually look like they are in scale. They lack the hugeness of exageration of the normal space marine heads. This is a good thing really. No more Leno jaws.

Do the wood elf heads go on perfectly or does there need to be GS and cutting and the like, THEY LOOK SWEET and i might steal them if i may? :D

There is a slight gap in the neck which needs a very very small amount og GS to fill. No sculpting is really required as you cannot see the neck. Its mainly there to hold the heads on the torsoe better.

I think its meant to be the gene seed, it changes the marines physiology so they all begin to look like their primarch, it doesnt affect some marines as much as others though. The new marines look like their faces have been botoxed, and why isnt their any texture on the hair?

I really like those hoods

Sorry dude, dont be too flattered. I made some with the normal plastic scouts back when I first saw that DA concept art. well over a month ago.

But it doenst matter who came up with the idea, it is simply a matter of time before everyone replaces the heads on those scouts with anything more reasonable that what is supplied with them.
