UM Dreadnought

A truly amazing paintjob. The conversion aspect seems pretty straightforwad, but your painting skill just makes the whole thing come alive. I am very impressed.

two questions:

1) how much time did you spend on the paintjob?

2) what colors did you use for your scrollwork? It is a lot darker/deeper than what I usually see and I LIKE IT!!

cheers, and thanks for sharing :D

1. Around 12 - 15 from the box to the final stage, I think...

2. I use scorched brown, bestial brown, elf flesh. White or bone sometimes...

Lovely dread B)

And on the note of Honour/Honor, while I was doing a translation the other day, 'honour' had null results while 'honor' had tons more.

I do believe Honour is the English version whilst honor is the everyone else version (hence, as I'm English - your all totally wrong ;) ^_^ ).

But thats based on observations.

Sweet dreadnought too :D do you have other pictures of him? (the back and right side spring to mind)

Really good work as usual - very nice freehand and a crisp, clean style. Congratulations on the 3rd place! If I had to make only one critique, it would be that the script font is a little 20th century in style... BUT (and this is a big but) I would say that the lettering you have applied is actually more exacting to paint than the standard Imperial Gothic one - so big heaps of Kudos for being able to pull it off so well.

Tasty.
