fwf_cypher
hey guys, as of late ive been thinking of converting up an Inquisitor and Acolytes, and have been looking for some sort of inspiration. Im was thinking wearing some sort of armour (plate or leather) and armed with a chainsword and bolter or something of the likes. something fluffy. I was wondering if anyone had any pics that i could use to inspire me or give me some sort of idea for a good conversion instead of the standard model or slightly changed current range. thanx for any help i can get. Gyson_Vore
Try looking for images of armour (Plate would be best, as leather wouldn't do much except possible stop an autopistol slug), and look at the fantasy range and wait for an idea to strike you. fwf_cypher
Well i want my Inquisitor to have like a trench coat or long cloak/tabard, but with armour as well. I was also wanting to do some Acolytes that look like they are almost ready to move on to be Inquisitors themselves. I was wanting them to also be packing like a bolter and chainsword or something unique like that. I like the Veteran that you have, so i was thinking i might do something like that. i was also thinking of doing a bound psyker that looks like a trained/submissive eldar warlock. These are some ideas. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/90615-unique-inquisitors-and-acolytes/#findComment-1045171 Share on other sites
Graywolf
See if you can find the (classic) Kal Jericho model- I'm modeling an Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor based on him, with a powerstake and inferno pistol.....will see if I can post a WIP picture later. fwf_cypher
has anyone seen or done an inquisitor who is based of a armoured fantasy model? I was thinking of converting something Empire, Dogs of War or something like that, but im not sure how it would look... fwf_cypher
i was looking at that too, but they were a bit too medieval for my liking, so i decided on making 1 acolyte based off the missionary with the goggles and chainsword, another from scratch, but i ordered the Forgeworld Inquisitor Lok. Another mini that caught my eye was High Marshal Halbrect which looks alot like a witch-hunting Inquisitor would, kinda like Tyrus. All you would have to do would be cut/dremmel down some of the Imperial crosses to the Inquisition =][= which would not be that tough. Arhiman of the thousand sons would also work well, but i thought he'd be better as a radical Inquisitor. anyone tried or succeeded in any of the conversions ive listed? I think ive seen one based of Arhiman... Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/90615-unique-inquisitors-and-acolytes/#findComment-1048605 Share on other sites

Doghouse
The female is based on an eldar, the other is a mordheim model with lots of GS and the Tau is converted from the Tau tank commander. <_< Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/90615-unique-inquisitors-and-acolytes/#findComment-1060999 Share on other sites
Inso
I'm not sure if these will be too helpful or not, seeing as they are mostly scratch built but here are mine (I'm sure they have been posted on here before so if you've seen them I apologise). First up is my Daemon Hunter HQ Inquisitor: http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d161/Inso/Pdinq1.jpg Next up is a link to my Witch Hunter Inquisitor and his retinue. PLEASE IGNORE THE GLOSS VARNISH they are not here to be critiqued, after all: http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d161/Inso/WHGroup2.jpg They are, from left to right: Squat Crusader, Demiurg Warrior, Ratling Familiar, Human Inquisitor, Ratling Sage (in Hoverchair), Ratling Torturer (Chirurgeon) and Human Chirurgeon. This band has a load of fluff attached to it but it is basically a mad, Radical Inquisitor with an inferiority complex (hence all the little people) who is always accompanied by his mental nurse who has to be big, in order to sedate him when necessary!
